How Payments Work

Understanding payment cycles and how contributors get paid

Orvion Studio pays contributors for successfully completed and approved work on the platform. Payments are processed weekly after tasks pass the required Quality Assurance (Q/A) review.

Understanding how the payment system works will help you track when your work is reviewed and when you can expect to receive payment.

1. Weekly Payment Schedule

Payments on Orvion Studio are processed once every week on Thursday.

Only tasks that have successfully passed the Quality Assurance (Q/A) process are eligible for payment.

Example: If your submitted work is approved before the payment processing time, it will be included in the upcoming Thursday payment cycle. If approval happens after the payment cutoff, payment will be included in the next week’s cycle.

2. Quality Assurance (Q/A) Review

Before payments are issued, all submitted tasks go through a Quality Assurance review to ensure project guidelines and accuracy requirements are met.

During the review process, submissions may be:

Only approved tasks are included in payment calculations.

3. Payment Cycle vs Q/A Cycle

It is important to understand that the Payment Cycle and the Q/A Cycle are separate processes.

Q/A Cycle

The Q/A team reviews submitted tasks to verify quality and accuracy. The time required for review may vary depending on:

Payment Cycle

Payments are processed every Thursday, but only for tasks that have already been approved by the Q/A system.

Because these cycles are separate, tasks submitted during the same week may be paid in different weeks depending on when they are approved.

4. Example Payment Timeline

Monday — Tasks are submitted.

Tuesday–Wednesday — The Q/A team reviews submissions.

Wednesday — Tasks are approved.

Thursday — Payment for approved tasks is processed.

If approval happens after the payment cutoff, payment will be processed in the following Thursday cycle.

5. Payment Eligibility

To receive payment, the following conditions must be met:

Tasks that fail quality checks or violate project instructions may not be eligible for payment.

6. Payment Delays

Occasionally, payments may take longer than expected due to:

If a delay occurs, payments will be included in the next available payment cycle once the issue is resolved.
